Dai's Archangel
Exodius was meditating, then all of a sudden Dasthur burst into his quarters.
"Exodius, a giant Phoenix has been spotted flying over the sea to Lore!" Dasthur said, surprised at the fact that a Phoenix was living
"What?!" Exodius said, also surprised.
They hurried out to Exodius' balcony, it looked out to sea, they looked for a few minutes, then Dasthur saw it, a brilliant golden light, just over the horizon and the shape of a giant bird
"There!" Dasthur pointed it out, Exodius nodded.
"I think, whatever is riding it, may be trouble..."
Katsuro burst through the door.
"What the heck is going on?" He said and followed Dasthur's finger.
"Something's coming, Katsuro, Dasthur and I don't like it..." Exodius said somewhat un-calmly.
Dai was riding on a fully grown Rebirth, the Phoenix had grown alot in the few years they had spent on Zeroheat, Dai had been offered to be the new king, however turned it down, he had to find Xan.
"C'mon, we've gotta get there today. Rebirth." and pushed his heels on Rebirth's side.
Rebirth gave a deafening screech and accelerated.

Chapter two, as time passes, things change.
Dai was walking through the Greenguard forest towards Heatover cave, Xan's domain and where he grew up. Rebirth was out hunting, he was not only great for riding, Dai never had to hunt anymore.
Exodius was watching the glow of the Phoenix, it was in Lore now he thought, and whoever or whatever was riding it may well be trouble for them all. Solar had somehow snuck up on Exodius, for next thing he knew, he was on the ground, being tackled by Solar.
"Heh, so what's up Exodius?" Solar asked, he'd been away at Mobius, making sure everything was safe after their battle with the first Lord of Chaos, then Exodius thought of something.
"Oh, not much Solar, apart from... that." He pointed at the glow in the woods.
"What the heck is that?" Solar asked, with a blank expression on his face.
"Who knows, a new villain, Chaos Lord, friend or foe?" Exodius asked no-one in particular.
"Well, why don't we do some spying?" Solar asked.
Exodius shook his head. "No, we don't want... whatever it is to know we're onto it." Exodius answered.
Dai had reached Heatover cave, or what was left of it, there where signs of battle, and only ashes and a sword stuck in the ground left of the place. 'What on Lore happened here?' Dai thought, it was night now, and Rebirth kept close, providing heat and light. 'Hmm, may as well check Falconreach.' he thought.
Exodius, Dasthur, Katsuro, Torshiro and Solar looked at the Glow, seemingly heading for the ruined land of Falconreach. there was silence between them, this was serious, Phoenixes hadn't been seen in over fifty years, an yet, there was one, fully grown and seemingly had a Rider.
"Exodius," Torshiro asked. "What should we do, I mean we can't have THAT running amok through Lore. it's dangerous, plus the person on it may as well be a Chaos lord."
Exodius thought about Torshiro's statement, then said "Too true, Torshiro, although, we need to learn about this... thing first... Dasthur, Katsuro would you two like to find it?"
Dasthur and Katsuro saluted and said as one. "Sure, Exodius."
Dai had now reached Falconreach, it too was in ruin, the only building standing was the guardian tower.
"Hmm, this is odd..." Dai was inspecting tracks made by what seemed to be adventurers although there were a few Necromancer and Pyromancer track among them, then it occurred to him. "Something's gone wrong, we've missed a war..." he started to walk towards the Guardian tower, it too showed signs of Adventurers, Necromancers and Pyromancers storming into it. Dai walked through only too gasp in complete surprise. "Something's gone wrong, Rebirth, very wrong..."

Chapter three.
Dai was horrified at the sight around him, many adventurers had apparently died in a huge battle, Villains and Heroes alike, dead on the floor around, Artix, Galanoth, Cysero, Yulgar, and even Dai's friend, Ash Dragonblade and many more, dead. However the body that struck him most was a burnt skeleton clad in fire red robes and a sword that had a part in the middle for fire, to help melt through enemy Armour.
"Xan!" Dai cried. Then, the body stirred.
"D-Dai..? I-Is that... you...?" Xan tried saying, only to barely say.
"Yes, Xan, yes, can I help in some way, what happened here, what...?" Dai said, only to be interrupted by Xan.
"Dai... y-you need to take t-this..." He moved towards his sword lying on the ground next to him Dai stopped him and grabbed the sword.
"Y-yes, that... and..." Xan pulled something out from under his robes, it was the orb of fire, Dai noticed.
"You want me to take THAT...?" Dai asked.
"Yes... Xan said, then with a long sigh, he died.
The door burst open and in came two troopers. Exodius was staring at the small glow visible at Falconreach.
"Sir, Exodius Sir, Dasthur and Katsuro have made a report!" One of the troopers stated.
Exodius sighed. "Very well, bring it here."
Exodius read: Exodius, we're outside of the Falconreach Guardian tower, that light's in there, we also saw a human go in there... and he was wearing Pyromancer robes.
Exodius Raised an eyebrow, Pyromancers were said to be long-dead, were they rising again? he asked himself.
He continued reading. We're going to camp in the old inn, it appears to be running still... we'll go in at sun-up. Dasthur. Exodius sighed again, it was sun-up now...
Dai was sitting with his back slumped against a stone, cold wall of the guardian tower he couldn't believe his friend and mentor was dead... he pulled the fire orb out and watched it glow in the gloominess of the tower. Strange, he thought how suck a small Item could possess so much power...
Dasthur and Katsuro were standing outside of the Guardian tower, their blades unsheathed, and at the ready.
"Dasthur, what're we doing anyway, Exodius said to simply find out what this thing was." Katsuro said.
"Well, let's just say I wanted a closer look at this "Pyromancer"..." Dasthur said, somewhat grimly.
Dai was starting to get up when the door burst open and in came Dasthur and Katsuro. He quickly moved into the shadows and muttered a spell which made his robes turn into a seemingly random blobs of dark green and gray, Dasthur looked straight at the spot where Dai stood, not even seeing anything. The reason for this was that the green and gray merged into the shadows, black would've been to dark and Dai would've been easily spotted, and the blobs of green and gray made the outer shape of Dai quiver and wobble while staying absolutely stock-still.
"There's nothing here, Dasthur..." Katsuro looked around the room, nearly oblivious that Dai was almost right in front of him.
Then Dai quickly unsheathed his blade, the same blade he used on Zeroheat island and lunged at Katsuro, the blade going through his stomach and out his back, creating an arch in his robes.
"Wha...?" He only had time to say before falling to the ground quivering in pain and the sudden suprise.
"Katsuro!" Dasthur shouted, then quickly pulled his blade from his back, a curved blade, smooth and long and lunged at Dai, Dai easily dodged and sat next to Katsuro, pulling his blade out and putting his legs up on his whimpering body.
"Hmph, I could heal this pathetic excuse for a warrior and give him a chance to actually fight me... or I could heal him and freeze him, so I can fight you...," Dai said to Dasthur who nodded and held up two fingers, he wanted to give this Pyromancer a good fight.
"Very well," Dai said, looking at his nails, with a bored expression on his face, he lept up and put his hand on the wound, none to lightly, and a red glow emerged from his hand, blood from the robes went through Dai's hand and replenished the skin around the wound.
"Whuh...That's the most advanced healing skill that only Infernic Plasmas in the Pyromancer order can know...," Dasthur said, surprised that there was a Pyromancer of such high order living in full flesh and blood.
Dasthur however had no time to think, since Dai was charging at him, his blade held in a backwards grip and only just managed to pull the only suitable block for a backwards grip slash, Dai leaped up and pulled his blade down, aiming for Dasthur's head with incredible speed that Dasthur didn't know what was coming...
